working principle
The industrial refrigeration unit consists of accessories such as a compressor, condenser, evaporator, expansion valve, etc.
- Compressor: In industrial chiller systems, the compressor is the power that ensures refrigeration. The compressor is used to increase the pressure of the refrigerant in the system, allowing the refrigerant to circulate in the refrigeration system to achieve the purpose of refrigeration.
- Condenser: The high-temperature and high-pressure Freon in the refrigeration system enters the condenser after coming out of the compressor, releasing a large amount of heat into the cooling medium, which is then cooled and liquefied.
- Evaporator: When the Freon liquid in the refrigeration system enters the expansion valve for throttling and is sent to the evaporator, it belongs to the evaporation process. At this point, it needs to absorb a large amount of heat to gradually reduce the valence and mass temperature, in order to achieve refrigeration and cooling effects.
- Expansion valve: In the refrigerant system flowchart of industrial chillers, we found a small section between the outlet of the condenser and the inlet of the evaporator, called a thermal expansion valve. It is a throttling and pressure reducing component used to reduce the condensation pressure of the refrigerant to the evaporation pressure. Therefore, its role in refrigeration systems is crucial. It is connected to the refrigeration compressor, evaporator, and condenser. It is also known as the four components of a refrigeration system.
- Other accessories: including drying filters and high and low pressure controllers. The drying filter is not removable. The internal structure adopts a molecular sieve structure, which can remove a small amount of impurities and water in the pipeline, thereby purifying the system. High pressure and low pressure controllers play a protective role in refrigeration systems.
Applications
Low temperature chillers are used in the pharmaceutical industry to prepare biochemical drugs such as high molecular weight compounds, proteins, enzymes, as well as some temperature sensitive chemical raw materials. Biochemical drugs require low-temperature reaction conditions in the process.
Many processes in the pharmaceutical industry require the use of water for cooling, heating, and reaction, thus requiring the use of low-temperature chiller equipment.
Low temperature chiller equipment can also be used in some strict temperature control processes in the pharmaceutical industry, such as negative pressure drying, coating preparation, and so on.
